Employees paying the lower rate of tax will need to very seriously consider the effects of opting out of this scheme.
Employees paying the higher rate of tax will want to consider the tax implications of using this scheme verses the traditional tax relief method of pension saving.
Employers will need to consider the immediate and future costs, as well as the regulatory administrative requirements.
I recently attended the Money Coach seminar on pension auto-enrolment, and it was exceptionally informative. Eugene's engaging presentation effectively clarified the changes happening on January 1st, 2025, making complex updates easy to understand. I highly recommend this seminar to business owners, bookkeepers, and payroll professionals to ensure they are well-prepared for the upcoming changes.

I have worked in financial advice, mortgage brokering and banking for over 25 years. Over the years I have come to realise that people regardless of their income struggle with the fundamentals of finance. As a result, we created Money Coach. An education and training company to help people take control of their finances. It has been incredibly rewarding to help people reduce their stress and anxiety about money. People think about money a lot and most of those thoughts are negative. It is a terrible way to live, and how I used to live before I applied the lessons and the rules we teach in our programmes. Money is like sex. People have it, but don’t talk about it. They assume that everyone else has their lives and their finances sorted, and it is just not true. The formula to weight loss seems straight forward - eat less, move more. And Money is the same. Spend less, save more. Except that it is not that easy. Behavioural economics is about accepting that we often make irrational decisions and setting yourself up to succeed. Our goal is help as many people as possible to 1. Think less about money & 2. For those thoughts to be more positive than negative.

Having been made redundant after the birth of my daughter, I decided to rethink what I wanted to spend my time doing. I wanted to step away from big companies and really help people, but I wasn't sure how. I have previously worked in financial recruitment, property management and training both in London and Ireland. A friend recommended I should work with Eugene and that started me in the industry of financial services. I am now a fully qualified financial adviser. Logic, family values and taking responsibility are key aspects for me. Helping our customers with their financial education, is my motivation. It is extremely satisfying to help people take control of their finances using behavioural economics. The psychology of money is fascinating and the simple tools and money hacks we provide has made a huge difference to the energy that people give to money. The more people who can benefit from this training the better so they can stop stressing about it, feeling guilty about it, and start enjoying it!
